"A magician becomes trapped in cyberspace when they attempt a dangerous stunt."
An experimental science fiction short inspired by the modern DND (Dungeons and Dragons) spell ‘wire walk’ allowing the user to travel to any location via phone line. Recorded primarily in the Montréal metro using a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. I made a map of all of the city’s old school telephone booths for usage in the film. Additional footage was collected from a home made installation specifically for the film. The installation used water, chains, bubbles, and coloured lights for visual effect.
